Northwest Section Awards |
We give the following awards to honor the women who have been a part of our 99 flying history and to inspire us all to continue in the great tradition and spirit of this group. For specific award requirements, see Awards SOPs.
Governor's Award -
This award is
given by the NW Section Governor to honor a 99 for her
achievements
in aviation. The Governor's Award has replaced
the Achievement Award which was given out last in 2001.
The Achievement Award Trophy
is now retired and is in the Museum of Women Pilots
in
Oklahoma City. Recipients of that award are also
listed
here.
